Philip Köster and Jane Seman win in Chile

After almost a week of waiting, the Surazo Infernal in Chile, the 2nd event of the PWA IWT Unified Wave Tour, crowned the Australian Jane Seman and the German Philip Köster, a beautiful event that unfortunately went under the radar due to a lack of communication...

After a week in which the conditions have been rather hesitant, on Wednesday and Thursday the spot of Matanzas, Chile, finally shows its real face with beautiful waves and wind, the perfect occasion to start the pro eliminations for men and women.
In the women's category, with no direct international competition, the Australian Jane Seman won three times, beating the German Björte Pürschel, who lives in Chile.

On the men's side, Philip Köster, after a great showy the day before, did it again on the final day on Thursday, winning in style and manner. Camille Juban, one of the favourites but with an obvious foot injury, had to settle for second place in the final ahead of Julian Salmonn. After eliminating Leon Jamaer in the semi-final, the young Frenchman Baptiste Cloarec finished in an encouraging 4th place.
A 4 star event of the PWA IWT Unified Wave Tour, without live streaming (which is understandable), this Surazo Infernal still leaves us on the edge of our seats, with very little communication and information distilled down to a trickle, frustrating even more those who expected (a lot) from this new circuit...
