From the 6th to the 8th of January, Cervantes, north of Perth in Western Australia/Australia, hosted the traditional Cervantes Windsurf Challenge, the first event of the year of the dynamic regional circuit organised by Windsurfing Western Australia.
On the programme of the festivities, wind between 30 and 40 knots, a GPS speed event on Friday won by local Chris Lockwood with almost 39 knots and 4 races of an XXL slalom on Saturday which saw the victory of Frenchman Alexandre Cousin. And above all a great windsurfing competition as we would like to see more often!
