At the end of last week, Antoine Albeau, Marc Amérigo and Pierre Schmitz met in La Palme in the South of France to carry out new sea trials as part of the Zephir Project...
On the programme, 3 beautiful days which allowed the testing of numerous material configurations (including a double profile sail), the analysis of the sensations and the recording of a maximum of onboard data. All the components of the equipment were dissected, analysed and dissociated to understand the keys with the technicians and engineers. Working with data and sensations. And if the information in terms of speed is not communicated at this time, Antoine Albeau seems to be getting close to 40 knots on foil.
Thanks to Principe Baldini, the organiser of the Prince of Speed and a great habitué of the spot, we can look back on these test sessions with Antoine Albeau visibly more motivated than ever!
