Antoine Albeau, interview by Wind Lounge

08/03/2023

After announcing his international retirement from the PWA World Tour last autumn (see our article of 9 November), Antoine Albeau's media appearances have been rather rare these last months...
On the occasion of his trip in El Medano, on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, the German team of Wind Lounge (a windsurfing and wingfoil shop), which was also present at the event, decided to conduct an interview with him.
On the programme, almost fifteen minutes of discussion (in English) with a visibly relaxed Antoine Albeau, who confirms that he will no longer be following the World Tour (with the exception of the Marignane event in France) and who talks to us about speed, foils and the market (and the current difficult situation for riders).
We learn that FRA-192 is now concentrating on 2 major projects, the Zephir project, but also the Lüderitz Speed Challenge in Namibia next autumn, which he will be taking part in!
