After Guincho ?

11/06/2007
With the Guincho round now ended, all eyes are now turning towards Pozo in the Canaries for the 3rd wave round of the season that will be happening at the beginning of July. 3rd in Guincho, Josh Angulo stays at the top of the leader board, Kauli Seadi stays in second, but with that win in Guincho Victor Fernandez leaps onto the 3rd podium spot. The big loser during the latest round was clearly Kevin Pritchard who slid right back to 8th place, making retention of his world title a much longer shot. And with just 500 points difference between 5th placed Jonas Ceballos and 1st placed Josh Angulo, that leaves everything to play for still and makes a good result in Pozo worth its weight in gold.First in the women’s Guincho contest, Daida Moreno should have plenty of confidence for the next round in Pozo, she knows the spot by heart, sailing there a large part of the year ! See the women’s waves provisional standings (after 1 round) See the men’s waves provisional standings (after 2 rounds)
